Friday, April 27th AMR Pemco, CMS, and ERM wrapped up their 16-week Weight Loss Challenge. This voluntary program started in January to create a healthy competition where employees supported one another in their wellness goals. Individual percentage of weight loss was used to determine the winners. The company awarded first, second, and third place participants a cash bonus and additional paid time off. Several employees remain dedicated to continuing to eat healthy, exercise routinely, and keep each other accountable even after the competition has ended.
This is one example of how the company is promoting health and wellness among our employees. We are currently in the middle of our Walking Challenge, which runs for 11 weeks. Employees track their steps and are rewarded for walking a minimum of 70,000 steps per week.
